Prayer for the day

Your assurance as my hand shuts the door,

Your strength as I walk to the car,

Your trust as I make the journey,

Your hope as I 'take up the reins,'

Your love as I am giving to others,

Your faith as I struggle through the day,

Your presence when I feel so alone,

Your comfort when I feel so down,

Your strong arms when I need protection,

Your eyes when I need to see,

Your ears when I need to hear,

Your lips when I need to speak,

Your hands when I need to feel,

Your mind when I need to think,

Your will when I need to do.

All these things I pray, for your help throughout the day.
